There is no better way to experience love and
compassion than by helping those in need,
a call Knights answer every day.

Knights banded together can accomplish more
than any of us could accomplish individually
in support of our Church and priests.

Knights socialize together and take care of each other –
we have each others’ back.

Members of the Knights of Columbus are proud
of our devotion to God and country,
and believe in standing up for both.

David Dybala

Council 8157 has benefited through the years from the engineering skills of our Texas A&M grads, and David’s prowess in that area is on display in Holy Spirit’s community center. David supervised the parish efforts to renovate the dining room. He and a squad of parishioners, many of them council members, provided much needed updating and improvements. David graduated from Aggieland in 1972 and became a Knight in 1980 at the council in Waco where he later served as Grand Knight. He and wife Clara came to Holy Spirit in 1985 when he was hired by the City of Dallas. David is a member of Holy Spirit’s music ministry and our degree team and is active in the parish’s ACTS ministry. He also has spearheaded our informal team that assembles the infrastructure for the parish’s fall festival. The Dybalas have two grown children and four grandchildren.
