Wheelchair Drive Sunday

The Knights of Columbus of Holy Spirit will hold their first charity Wheelchair Drive campaign on Sunday March 13th, 2022. We will be soliciting donations for the American Wheelchair Mission, a non-profit organization with the goal of delivering brand new, free wheelchairs and mobility aids to physically disabled children, teens and adults throughout the world. The average price of a wheelchair is $150. Last year the Knights in the Dallas Diocese funded over 1,000 wheelchairs.

The Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus will be taking donations after each Mass this weekend. You can use a credit card, a check (made payable to American Wheelchair Mission) or cash. If you would like to donate online, you can do so anytime at www.amwheelchair.org/donate. As you fill out the form, in the Campaign* field please select “Knights of Columbus” from the drop down options. After entering your First and Last names, enter “Council 8157” in the “Organization” field, then finish entering the rest of your information.
