Ramon and Melinda Presas
Ramon Presas has been a Knight for 17+ years; and during that time has fond memories of his 4 children (Christina, Zachary, Veronica, and Samantha) volunteering for the Knights or serving as altar servers. Ramon wife of 12 years, Melinda, has also raised 3 children (Jenny, Alex, and Andy); all on them grown up now and doing well. Melinda is originally from Tyler Texas, raised in Grand Prairie and for the past 30 years has been working as a legal assistant. Ramon and Melinda have a second home in Padre Island and Melinda now has more time for gardening, quiet evenings and decorating there 2nd home. Ramon said “I am proud to be a Knight. Council 84157 has been a blessing for me. Volunteering side by side with men of such great character is a wonderful experience”. Of course, Ramon has done his share of volunteering as well. Most recently he has retired from his role as Recorder for the Council. He can be seem at the baseball concession stands, fish fries and other Knight activities. Ramon has been in the banking industry for over 30 years; yet finds time to help his community and his church. Some of you may recall the masterful job he did as a reader at Sunday Masses. As a veteran banker, he has been working from home the past few years which has allowed him, along with Melinda, to start working on their 2nd home in Padre Island. Congratulations on being selected Family of the Month for June, 2023.
