Angeline (Militello) Perta 1927-2022
We wish to extend our condolences to our Brother Pete Perta, our Financial Secretary, on his mother’s passing this past Friday, June 10, at the age of 95. Pete was with his family by her side, he flew back to Texas early Saturday morning to take care of the house and flew back to Utica, NY on Sunday, where he will remain the rest of the week.
Let us keep Pete and the Perta family in our thoughts and prayers.
UTICA, NY – Angeline (Militello) Perta, age 95, completed life’s journey and entered into eternal paradise on Friday, June 10, 2022 after a short illness. At the time of need and her passing her family was by her side.
Angeline Perta was a parishioner at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church (now known as St. Anthony’s / St. Agnes) for 90 years and she still gave weekly donations. Her deceased brother (Rev. Ignatius Militello was a Catholic priest for 59 1/2 years until his passing. Her other deceased brother was a member of the Utica Knights of Columbus Council 189, and one of her living brothers is currently a member of Mohawk, NY Knights of Columbus Council 579. Her son Peter Perta joined the Knights in 2011 and has been a member of Council 8157 in Duncanville, TX since then.
