Jesus “Jesse” Zuñiga
The kids at school years ago in Oak Cliff began calling him “Jesse,” and that’s what he’s gone by ever since. Jesse joined our council last October after helping out at Holy Spirit’s fall festival and running across some 8157 members. He graduated from Sunset High and is a building engineer who oversees three high-rise buildings. Jesse has rolled up his sleeves to pitch in during the Lenten fish fries and the Valley Ridge concession stand and has been called upon during Masses to assist with the collection. Jesse and wife Leticia have been married for 27 years, and they have three children. Christian, 26, is a barber in Oak Cliff. Alyssa, 21, attends Dallas County College, and Alexa, 18, attends Texas Tech. The Zuñigas have lived in Duncanville for 25 years and have been Holy Spirit parishioners for 16.
