The meeting called to order at: 7:30 PM by Grand Knight Tom Greco.
The Grand Knight opened the meeting with an “Our Father” and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Committee Reports:
Community Activities: (Dan Murphy)
- Two activities are scheduled:
- St. Joseph’s Residence cookout on May 11
- Emergency Responders lunch (we lend equipment) on May 23rd
Knight Hands: (Allen Reitmeier)
- Completed the second roll-a-round set of bookshelves for the church library, the third rack to be completed this month.
- Repaired dining room chairs for parishioner.
- Thanked the Knights who spent two days repairing and painting another parishioner’s house.
Youth Activities Report: (Mike Moloughney)
- Youth group is preparing for their mission trip to Tennessee.
Pro Life Committee Report: (Mike Moloughney)
- The Bishop’s Pro-Life dinner is scheduled for April 13th.
- We have a protest at Planned Parenthood on West Virginia that same day.
- The movie “Unplanned” is having an impact as it has been criticized by several pro-abortion groups .
Council Activities: (TBD)
- No report.
First Degree Team: (Tom Greco)
- There will not be a First-Degree next week. The one candidate that was considering joining has had second thoughts
Membership Committee Report: (Jorge Ruiz for Keith Archer)
- Recruitment Fair has been postponed. Possible dates are during the summer months when there is limited or no Sunday activities to draw people to the gym.
- It was suggested that an announcement be made at the Spanish Mass to encourage Hispanic men to join
Retention Committee Report: (Wendell Jean Pierre)
- Wendell read a poem he dedicated to the memory of our departed brother Andy Goza, titled “For Andy“.
Awareness & Safe Environment Report: (Jorge Ruiz)
- The funeral services arrangements for our departed brother Andy Goza were announced.
- Pallbearers and readers volunteers were assigned roles.
- Safe Environment: No updates.

Concessions Committee: (James Smith)
- Baseball continues this Saturday
Health Committee Report: (Lou Lemons)
- Review of cautions to be taken regarding poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. See: Beware Poisonous Plants.

- Knight of the Month for March is Eric Conner.
- Family of the Month for March is Mike and Susan Fitzgerald .

- James Smith: Council support of Vacation Bible School. James Smith said check had just been written

- Jorge Ruiz: We need more members involved in our committees. Some brothers are trying to handle too many duties. Please volunteer.

- The Color Corps attended the Council Corporate communion last Saturday
- Color Corp will attend Thursday night Visitation & Rosary and Funeral Services Friday for our departed brother Andy Goza.
The GK called for the Good of the Order.
