BEN and TIM BURNS join our growing list of father-son members and attended the same First Degree exemplification ceremony in late March. Ben is a software engineer, married 21 years to Marilyn. After graduating from Lewisville High, he spent a year at North Texas, six years in the Navy and then finished his schooling at UTA.
Tim, 20, attends the Notre Dame School in Dallas for special-needs students. Ben converted to Catholicism four years ago as a result of attending Tim’s religious education classes. Ben is the scoutmaster of a special-needs troop, and Tim is a First Class Scout nearing Star Scout status.
