Celestino Rios – January 2013

Celestino lives in Duncanville with his wife, Eufemia or “Femia.” Natives of The Philippines, they have been married for 45 years. He’s retired following a career in production work for Foamlite. Femia, also retired, was a nurse at Methodist Central. They have four children (Roderick, Mey, Cerrie and Maria) and two grandchildren. They have been parishioners since 1988. It was shortly before then that Celestino’s sister, Auria Convento (a founding member of the parish), petitioned for the Rios family to come to the United States and settle here.
