Jose Perales, chef by trade, pitched in immediately in the kitchen at our April breakfast. Jose and wife Ramona moved to Duncanville a few years ago from Midland, where he’d joined the Knights back in the 1970s. Jose is a baker at Panera Bread in Cedar Hill, and Ramona works at Duncanville High. They’ll celebrate their 10th anniversary on April 20. Jose has two sons from a previous marriage, three stepchildren and 17 grandchildren.
