Want proof that Rudy is a man of varied interests? He has an electrical engineering degree from Texas A&M and enjoys poetry. He recently retired from Texas Instruments after 22 years, most recently as a global design manager. Not that Rudy is putting his feet up. He’s now focused on a start-up software company called Smart Apple Solution that helps schools with their online efforts. Rudy was born in Mexico, moved to Texas at an early age and graduated from high school in Del Rio. He and wife Rosalba live in Cedar Hill, have been married for 16 years, have a 14-year-old son named Alejandro and have been parishioners for about six years. Rudy helps with the youth ministry on Sunday nights.
