Council #8157 was once again well represented at a recent Knights of Columbus Texas Council mid-year
meeting on December 5th, 6th and 7th, in Houston, Texas. Council #8157 is one of a very few
councils statewide represented by two diocesan representatives, District Deputy Bill Dover and
Assistant Diocesan Deputy Jim Kowalski. They were involved in the regulations and direction
of the future of the Knights of Columbus in Texas and Internationally. Texas is still the leader.
