It’s Fall Festival Set Up Time
It is Fall Festival set up time again and this is our call for all hands on deck to help put on a festival. The festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 29-30, 2018. Please take a look at the work schedule below and see how much help is needed to make it happen and kindly let me know when I can count on your help. Set up dates and times follow below:
INITIAL SET UP
THURSDAY September 27: 11am – 8pm
- 11am – 12:30pm:
- Unload the food truck (6-8 people)
- 5pm – 8pm:
- Set up dinning room for silent auction (6-8 people)
- Set up gym for bingo and vendors (4 people)
- Block off parking & maybe take out stage for Friday morning setup (2 people)
FRIDAY September 28: 8am – 6pm (with breaks in between)
- Set up stage (4 people)
- Set up health fair (4 people)
- Set up tents/booths (as many as possible, minimum 16 people)
FESTIVAL
SATURDAY September 29: 8am – 5pm
- I plan on getting some teen volunteers to help out with small tasks (i.e. putting drinks on ice / carrying ice / moving tables / chairs etc.)
- Any Knight available to help on Saturday with any tasks that comes up would be appreciated (3 people throughout the day). Contact me so I’ll know who to call on if needed. This goes for Sunday as well.
SUNDAY September 30: 3pm – 9pm (Closing)
- 3pm:
- Start breaking down vendor booths no longer in use (4 people)
- Start putting up rented table and chairs no longer in use (4 people)
- 5pm:
- Pick up all rented tables and chairs (6-8 people)
- Take down tents / booths (12-14 people)
- Take down stage (4 people)
- 8pm – 9pm:
- kick back and enjoy ice cold, big carbs beverages and left over whatever. This is the important line item.
TIP – Bring and wear a tool belt with the following tools:
- Duct Tape
- Hammer
- Pliers, adjustable wrench
- Screw drivers, phillips and flat head
- Work gloves, eye protection, cap with brim
