Ten members of our council earned their Major Degrees among a group of 19 North Texans who went through the ceremony held in Holy Spirit’s community center on Saturday, Feb. 15. Those in 8157 were Trevor Edwards (son of Chris Edwards), Abel Lugo, Bob Motta, Jim Ouimet, Ken Rarick, Raymond Rivera, Deacon Charlie Ruelas, James Smith, Mario Tiambeng and La’Don Wright. They were treated to early-morning eats and drinks before the ceremony began and a terrific lunch featuring baked chicken, mixed vegetables and potato salad afterward. Thanks to the council members who helped with the ceremony and/or the meals or simply provided support by attending the ceremony: Frank Salazar, Nick Kleinhaus, Jim Richardson, Bill Dover, Al Alonzo, Larry Balagna, Rey Estrellas, Andy Goza, Tom Greco, Russell Gully, Doug Karpan, Jeff Miller, Dan Murphy, Jack Ramsden, Jorge Ruiz and Jim Russell.
