Another successful fish fry this past Friday March 13, 2026. Once again everyone migrated to their “perceived job” and hit the ground running. So that means that: Cesar Villareal, Joe Hernandez, Alex Carlson, Fred Ciarochi, Jeff Traub, Jorge Caraveo, Marc Evans, Dan Murphy, and Joe Simecak, helped with the cooking of catfish, French fries and hush puppies and getting them delivered to the kitchen. Larry Balagna and John Owen thawed fish and got them ready to be breaded. Mike Fitzgerald and Arthur Rodriguez breaded the fish. Frank Salazar handled all the kitchen duties. Michael Clark, Jonnie Emerson and Carlos Fulmer took care of drinks. Holly Patterson and Cappie Wood prepared salads and coleslaw. John Espree, Ray Rivera, Hector Lopez, David Ybarra, Jose Luis Ramariz, and Phil Holifield were on the serving line. Manning the welcome table was James Smith, Greg Warr, and Peter Perta. Producing fish tacos were: Gerardo Lopez. Antonio Razo, Rolando Sobalvarro, Tony Gonzalez, Connie Caraveo. Setup and teardown got help from Steve Reid, Dr. Robert Nieto and Rod Kinard. Did I miss anyone? I sure hope not, but if I did, text me, and I’ll add your name. The gatekeepers tell me that we served 242 guests without any glitches at all. Just an example of a bunch of good hearted people working together helping others. You all are to be thanked and congratulated for a smooth running fish fry. During the past 4 fish fries, I have tried to get at least one picture of everyone who has worked thus far. Enjoy the following pictures.
