We are men who lead, serve, protect and defend, whether we are giving out Coats for Kids, donating wheelchairs, lending a helping hand in disaster relief efforts, supporting local pregnancy centers or providing top-quality financial products.
Mike and Susan Fitzgerald made Holy Spirit’s community center kitchen their kitchen during September’s Fall Festival for the fourth consecutive year. ey served about 175 guests at the annual Saturday night dinner. Mike prepared beer can turkey while Susan xed broccoli, mashed potatoes and desserts. She also made the table decorations and personally designed the dinner tickets. Sunday morning, they were back at it. Mike baked cookies from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. while Susan helped sta the bakesale table in the community center lobby. Mike took his rst and major degrees early in 1999, was our Knight of the Year in 2011 and has served as council treasurer since the previous century. He and Susan celebrated their 34th anniversary in November. Mike works for Allianz Insurance, and Susan serves as the librarian at DeSoto West Middle School. ey have three grown children and nine grandchildren.
