We are men who lead, serve, protect and defend, whether we are giving out Coats for Kids, donating wheelchairs, lending a helping hand in disaster relief efforts, supporting local pregnancy centers or providing top-quality financial products.
Even more people ate at the fish fry this past Friday February 27, 2036 – 247 in total. There were a few less Knights working this particular Friday but with the help of Holly Paterson, Connie Caraveo, Issy Via and Norma Luna, everything went smoothly. Once again there was a great deal of merriment in the gymnasium. The Knights who worked this past Friday were, for the most part, the same Knights who worked the previous Friday. Perhaps we’ll see some new faces at the next fish fry – what say you? There isn’t a lot new to report on during this fish fry; everyone seems to have found their niche and operated smoothly. The line moved along at a good pace thanks to the Knights frying fish and French fries and hush puppies – we never ran out of any food. Same was true for salads and coleslaw; never ran out of drinks either. Tradition I list the names of the Knights who helped make the event a success, so I’ll do the same again.
