It’s an old adage that maintains that sometimes bad news comes in threes. That was the case recently as we find that the sister of Sir Knight James Smith passed away on February 17 at the age of 78. Patty Rogers lived in Bowie Texas; she was afflicted with cancer. Prayers and love go out to James and the entire Rogers’ family.
Just before that date, the niece of Brother David Ybarra, Isela Rojas, passed away in El Paso at the very early age of 55 from the dreaded disease ALS. Her husband and 2 kids will miss her terribly. She was a school teacher and a school counselor. Prayers and love to all affected by this untimely death.
The sister of Brother Knight Efrain Ochoa – Maria Irma De La Fuentes- battled for an extended period of time trying to recover from double lung transplant. Sadly she lost the battle on February 12th, 2026. Her husband, David and children Laura and Marcus are heartbroken over the loss of the light of their life. Prayers and love to Marias’ family
