We are men who lead, serve, protect and defend, whether we are giving out Coats for Kids, donating wheelchairs, lending a helping hand in disaster relief efforts, supporting local pregnancy centers or providing top-quality financial products.

In case you thought Knight Hands has been “goofing off”, let me recap the latest projects performed by Knight Hands:
Twice in the past two weeks we have delivered supplies to Gabriel Mom’s – essential items (diapers, wipes, baby carrier, stroller) these young single mothers need to care for their children. Jesse Ann Nobles accompanied me on these deliveries. This is a Pro-Life activity.
We removed and moved the old Baptismal Font and built and installed a new Baptismal Font at the request of Fr, Uche. David Dybala built the new top and Dan Sheridan installed tile that matched the floor around the altar. Allen Reitmeier built the base. Jesse Zuniga’s grandson was the first baby baptized with the new font. Take a look at it the next time you are at Mass.
John Owen was the sponsor and participant in replacing the ceiling in the home of Lovis Miller. The ceiling collapsed in her bathroom during the freeze in 2021 and she has tolerated that situation for 4 years. After John and Allen installed new drywall, Steve Zehnder did the tape and mudding of joints and screw heads, and then John and Allen did the final touch-up and painting.
Allen re-assembled an heirloom coffee table for Joann Jones. James Smith was the sponsor of this project and the work was completed in Allen’s garage. The coffee table had simply fallen apart and had to be put back together. It took about 8 hours to complete.
We installed a dryer cord for Ida Medrano and hauled trash to the local compactor after she moved. Allen and Linda Reitmeier did this job.
We replaced a busted wooden door (someone had broken in) with a new steel door for Mike Higgins III. Mike Higgins II was the sponsor of this project and he, along with Dan Murphy and Allen spent about 10 man hours completing this job.
And lastly, at the suggestion of Efrain Ochoa, we cleaned out one of the storage sheds behind the Community Center. Dan Murphy and Allen also participated. We not only cleaned out the shed; but also installed three shelves so that items can be stacked in an orderly manner in the future.
For those of you that are keeping track, Knight Hands has now completed 524 projects
