Congratulations to Jesus on receiving Knight of the Month! Jesus Aguirre works in IT at JP Morgan Chase and has been a resident of Cedar Hill the last 5 years in their home on Wintergreen. His wife, Nohemi, and he were married at the downtown Guadalupe cathedral in Dallas in 2004 and they have 4 kids: Josue (18 yrs), Jacob (17 yrs), Joel (15 yrs), and Nataly (13 yrs). Jesus went to school at St. Mary of Carmel, high school at St. Michael and received his Associates degree from El Centro college in software development in 2003, and his Bachelor’s degree in 2018. His wife is also Catholic and is a Latin language teacher at Great Hearts. Together, they attend and volunteer at the Guadalupe Cathedral teaching religious education and catechism. They have attended HSCC for 3 years and like it because it is close to home. Jesus’ parents are Gustavo and Margarita, Gustavo is from Monterrey, Mexico and Margarita is from Zacatecas. Jesus was born in Dallas’ Parkland Hospital and baptized at Our Lady of Lourdes as well as confirmed Catholic, his parents are still living. He and his wife have a big family because of the mother of his wife (Maria Soccoro) having 10 sisters and 4 brothers which means plenty of cousins, he says she is the most Catholic woman he knows as she prays the rosary twice daily. Jesus was recruited by Adan Luna to be a Knight and works with Allen Reitmeier doing Knight Hands projects and baseball concessions. He has 1 older brother (Gustavo) and 1 younger brother (Enrique). He has traveled to Mexico City and speaks English as well as Spanish. His goal as a catholic is to catechize the youth and teach them not to lose hope and get to know their faith. He is a bible reader as well as a reader, gardener (likes to work outside), and woodworker. They attend the 1pm mass on Sunday at Holy Spirit and varying masses at the Guadalupe Cathedral downtown.
