Mario Luna was elected Knight of the Month for September 2024. Mario has been a knight for 3 years – since June 2021. He was recruited by Ramon Presas, he got to know Mario on Sundays as he would say hello to him when he was there. Mario is a retired carpenter and retired just this year and his only hobby is that he is a Knight where he enjoys fellowship, comradery, helping out, and working together. He was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX to Jesus and Victoria Luna. Mario was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corpus Christi. He moved to Dallas in 1975. Before he lived in Glenn Heights, he lived in Red Oak. He has lived in Glenn Heights now for 11 years. He is divorced, but has 4 grown kids and 11 grandkids as well as 5 great grandkids!
