The little league baseball season got started on Saturday Match 21, 2026 with 22 games played. Gross sales for this one day event was in excess of $3,700. It was busy the whole day from 9am until about 8pm. Thanks to the Knights who worked these three very hectic shifts at valley Ridge Park in Cedar Hill. Robert Tovar, John Espree and I kicked off Saturday morning and were joined at 10:30am by Miguel Hernandez and his two sons (David and Benjamin). Around 12:30pm Russell Gully, Jessie Radillo and Eduardo Torres arrived to relieve the early shift – except for Miguel and his boys. Around 4:30pm, Mike Fitzgerald arrived to close out the day – except he and I were extremely busy so Jesse Radillo worked an extra 2 hours as did Eduardo Torres. A very successful opening day of little league play – most of the games involved 3to4 year olds as well as 5, 6, 7, and 8, year old kids.

And on the next Saturday, March 28, 2026, 20 games were play at Valley Ridge. In the morning Robert Tovar, Jim Ouimet, James Smith, and Joel Lopez handled the first shift with Phil and Hazel Holifield, Russell Gully and Moises Martinez handling the middle shift and Barry Barksdale, Joe Cuellar, Mike Fitzgerald, and Joe Eubank finishing out the day. Gross sales for this day were in excess of $2,700. The menu has not changed for the past two years nor have the prices. Many of our customers comment how reasonably priced we are. We also get lots of positive comments about the quality of our food and service. Little league games will continue until the end of May. Hope to see you at the ballpark.
