The Little League Baseball Season is Complete

The regular little league spring season is complete with the End of Season league tournament on May 16^th and 17^th.  We also hosted a 5 games tournament for Pine Tar Sports.  So when you add the total number games for the weekend you come up with 32.  What a wonderful and talented group of Knights were on hand these two days to handle the nearly $4,000 in total sales.  Saturday was extra busy; but Peter Petra, John Espree, Jorge and Connie Caraveo and Hector Rubio handled the first shift with ease. 

They were followed by Manuel Urias (a first timer, by the way), Russell Gully, and Jesse Radillo and myself during the middle shift and then Miguel and his two sons (David and Benjamin), and Joe Eubank closed out the day late in the evening. 

Sunday was a much slower days sales wise; nevertheless Miguel Hernandez, myself and Marc Evans were on hand to handle the first shift (8:30am until 12:30pm) and then myself, Eduardo Torres and Jim Ouimet finished out the day.  From this writer’s perspective, it was a most enjoyable and profitable weekend.  Everyone was in good spirits and seems to really enjoy each other company; for sure, there was a good bit of “kidding around” along with good natured laughter – all the while serving delicious food promptly and with a smile.  That why so many of our customers come back for seconds – don’t you think? While the league season is over, we may have addition tournaments until the end of June.  I’m sure there will be more fun to be had at thee old ballpark.  We received numerous compliment about the quality of our hamburgers and all our foods, really, and many comments about the terrific service as well as the low prices of our goods.  Just a win-win situation all-around.  Thanks to all who labored this past weekend.  You performed at a very high level.  See you next time.
