Blood Drive Sunday

[dropcaps] D [/dropcaps] espite a flurry of activities and late night events our council had to participate in the day before, Pat Stepniewski, our Health Director made sure our blood drive took place as planned early Sunday morning February 16, 2014. Immediately after the dinner dance the night before, the gym floor was transformed from a dance hall into a blood donating facility with impressive efficiency. Pat was assisted early Sunday morning by several other Knights who also seem impervious to late night partying and they were, Andy Goza and wife Susan, Al Alonzo, Jim Russell, Dan Murphy and Doug Karpan. Thanks to these dedicated Knights and Carter Blood Care for continuing the important work that helps to save lives in our community.
