Juanita and Jack Ramsden

The Ramsdens are in the midst of closing out yet another busy year with the Knights and multiple Holy Spirit ministries. They recently helped at the Veterans Day dinner as part of their membership in the parish’s Social Committee, through which they also serve on short notice for funeral luncheons. They attended the clergy appreciation dinner in November and participated in the pro-life Forty Days for Life event in October. Jack (that’s him on the left above, fetted by Deputy Grand Knight Nick Kleinhaus) joined the Knights in 2012 and has been tabbed as a trustee for this fraternal year. He is a regular at KC breakfasts and has volunteered at the recent VA and St. Joseph’s cookouts. As Zone Shepherds, they were involved in the planning and execution of the Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration in mid-December. They co-chair the Adult and Family Ministry Commission and participate with the Outreach Ministry. Juanita and Jack have been married for 20 years and went through RCIA together in 2008-09. They have lived in Duncanville for seven years after previously residing in Cedar Hill. Jack officially retired in June 2012 after 24 years operating a machine shop in Dallas. Juanita retired about five years ago following 34 years with the Army-Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES). If you can slow them down, remind them how much they mean to the council and to Holy Spirit.
