Andy, Susan and Madison Goza
If you have enjoyed any of the freshly baked cookies available during the Lenten fish fry dinners, you can thank our Family of the Month for March – Andy, Susan and Madison Goza. That’s just part their contribution to Knights activities recently. You might not notice that many of the light bulbs in the sanctuary are shining much brighter, but you can thank Andy; he was among the parish volunteers who recently helped change out many of the bulbs in advance of the Easter festivities. Andy’s involvement in the fish dinners includes also helping to set up the tables and chairs in the gym. He was also active in the operations of the council’s appreciation dinner, the KC blood drive the following morning and the parish’s catechist dinner about 36 hours after that. At the 5:30 Mass on Saturdays, Andy ushers and Madison helps with the sacristy efforts. Madison attends St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic School in Oak Cliff. Last November, Madison received a battlefield promotion – from the third grade to the fourth grade. “She obviously takes after her mother,” Andy astutely observed. Andy is the most recent past Grand Knight, a council trustee, director of council activities and a tireless recruiter of new members. Susan is a flight attendant for American Airlines. Together, they are very involved in Madison’s school and faith life.
