[dropcaps] W [/dropcaps] e at Holy Spirit Catholic Church have a family that is now experiencing real hardship due to a traffic accident involving one of their precious daughters, Jennifer. Michael and Karen Moloughney with their family of three girls and one boy are very active in our parish and always ready to step forward in service to our parish. Whether it be Knights of Columbus, ACTS, REP, Youth Ministries, Parish Festival, Right to Life activities, they are always there.
Jennifer Lynn Moloughney recently graduated from high school and was looking forward to attending college this year and playing soccer for her university. This all changed as she was with friends coming home from a movie when their vehicle was struck by another vehicle. Jennifer suffered severe head trauma and is requiring extensive rehabilitation as a result. She will not be able to attend college this year nor play soccer in the future. The Moloughney family is very thankful for all the prayers on behalf of Jennifer that have been offered. They do believe that these prayers have enabled Jennifer to progress in her recovery and do ask that we keep the prayers coming.
The Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus Council 8157 recognizes there is a need to provide help to cover the mounting medical bills and other expenses that the Moloughney family is incurring. These expenses have fallen back on the Moloughney family because the insurance coverage they have available is limited. For this reason our Council has established a Donation Account at the CHASE Bank at 103 N Cedar Ridge Dr in Duncanville to allow individuals who wish to contribute funds to help relieve the family from this unexpected major financial burden. Anyone wishing to help can do so by depositing funds directly into her account; or by mailing a check; or by donating online.
