It is with deepest regret that we inform you of the passing away of Mrs. Sally Alonzo, BK Al Alonzo’s wife. Sally passed away at 4:00 PM Sunday, December 29th, 2013 in California.
Al wanted us to let every Knight know that he appreciated all the prayers and was resolved to accept that God had called her home.
We continue to pray the Lord grant the Alonzo family strength and peace during this difficult time.

Salvacion P. Alonzo joined her creator on December 29, 2013 after a very brief illness at a local hospital at Thousand Oaks, California at age 72 surrounded by her family and close relatives.
Along with her husband of forty nine years Engineer Bayani ( Al) Alonzo, Sally is survived by her loving sons Vincent and Allen and daughter in law Carol , sister Heidi Pineda, brother Verne M, Pineda, M.D., sisters in law, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
A native of the Philippines, she migrated to the USA in 1972 and has since then resided in Duncanville, Texas with her family.
Attending Catholic Schools all throughout, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce majoring in Banking and Finance at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. Working briefly in a bank in her native country, she followed her husband along with their two sons and found employment at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service from 1976 to 2004 with a brief stint at Munich, Germany along with her family.
She was an active member of the parish along with her husband and son Allen at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville, Texas. Vincent at St Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.
Relatives and friends are invited to join at the Viewing/Vigil/Rosary at the Holy Spirit Church from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm – Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
Funeral Mass at the Holy Spirit Church at 11:00 am – Thursday, January 9, 2014.
