The 40th Anniversary of the Knights of Columbus Council 8157 was celebrated on Saturday June 18, 2022 starting with Corporate Communion Mass at 5 PM. The Knight of the Year 2021-2022 was awarded to David Dybala, PGK. Our clergy and our Past Grand Knights were honored. Musical performance by Felipe Martinez, Music Director at the piano, and Mezzo-Soprano Jacqueline Estrada.
The Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus provided a fish fry lunch to St. Joseph’s Residence on Saturday May 21, 2022.
Special Olympics Track & Field competition took place at Cedar Hill High School
The Knight Hands crew planted Holly bushes outside the perimeter of the courtyard in to create a bit more privacy from the street side traffic.

WHEELCHAIR DRIVE.
The Knights of Columbus at Holy Spirit held their first Wheelchair Drive on Saturday & Sunday, March 12-13, 2022, benefitting the CRIT Center in La Paz, Mexico.
The Knight Hands group of Council 8157 remodeled the rectory at Holy Spirit and took the opportunity to present Fr Eugene a donation for $3,500.00 in support of all the church programs.
Knight Hands Project: Nydia Mijangos home repairs
In March of 2019 Nydia’s home caught on fire around 3am in the morning; and while the fire department arrived within 5 minutes of her call, there was still extensive damage to her home. Unfortunately she had not been able to afford insurance on her home and so she is now forced to repair her home as funds allow. So a year and a half after the fire Tony asked if we could help repair two rooms in Nydia’s home – an upstairs bathroom and an upstairs children’s play room.
