Concession News
This is an update in regard to the operation of both the football and baseball concession stands in Cedar Hill.
FOOTBALL CONCESSION
During a meeting on Monday March 9, 2020, Mr. Larry Hodges – president of Youth Football Cedar Hill- confirmed that they had hired a new vendor (Smokin’ Bones) to provide concessions during the upcoming season and asked the Knights of Columbus to vacate the concession stand as soon as possible. On Saturday March 14, 2020, a number of Knights did indeed move all equipment to other locations.
BASEBALL CONCESSIONS
In regard to Little league baseball, the mayor of the City of Cedar Hill (Stephan Mason) “signed a proclamation declaring a Local State of Disaster”; and so among other cancellations “all athletic fields are closed and all programs and events are cancelled…….through March 31, 2020”.
Our council’s normal baseball concessions operation should resume in April(ish).
