Lady Betty O’Brien needs our prayers

Please keep Lady Betty O’Brien, our brother Sir Knight Ed O’Brien’s wife in your prayers as she is in a fragile state and has been struggling with health issues for several months now. Brother Ed is caring for her at home in Duncanville and is always by her bedside.

Brother Knight Alex Sabo Needs Our Prayers

This week I will be having surgery to repair my left hand, relieve pain and restore strength needed for support in my walking and daily activities. Surgery on my right hand will come at a later date. Covid 19 limits visitation to only immediate family.

Ernestina Alvarez – Rest In Peace

We are sad to announce that our brother Knight Ernest Alvarez’s wife, Ernestina “Tina” (50) has succumbed to the Covid 19 virus. She was administered last rites at Methodist Central Hospital in Dallas, with our brother Knight Ernest by her bedside.

Dennis Reitmeier

Our brother Knight Allen Reitmeier’s older brother Dennis J Reitmeier (78) passed away yesterday from complications from cancer, in Paynesville, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marilyn, children Craig, Lori and Troy, and 6 grandchildren. Allen and Linda will be leaving for Minnesota soon to spend this time with their family.
Dennis was born on April 9, 1943, in Richmond, MN to Paul and Martha (Blasius) Reitmeier. He married Marilyn Schlangen on May 15, 1971, in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Rockville, MN. Dennis farmed his whole life on the family farm near Richmond and was proud that his son continues to work the farm today. He enjoyed old time polka music and could play many instruments by ear. Dennis loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Ernestina Alvarez – COVID 19

Our brother Knight Ernest Alvarez’s wife, Ernestina “Tina” (50) has been suffering from severe upper respiratory symptoms since being diagnosed with Covid 19. She is still having a hard time, and is hospitalized at Methodist Central in Dallas.
